Chris has worked with many organisations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has extensive experience of risk management in the Enterprise function as well as in many types of major projects. He is qualified as a chartered surveyor early in his career and has worked in senior commercial roles on major infrastructure projects in the road, rail, airports and commercial sectors. He has a highly commercial approach to any project or business, bringing a thorough and rigorous approach to the development and implementation of risk management in any environment.
Chris has focused on risk management for more than 15 years and is an experienced leader in the development and implementation of risk management and project control systems including the integration and management of the complex interfaces found in diverse business and project environments. He is committed to improving business and project performance and has developed a broad range of skills that he can bring to the effective management of risk.
Currently Chris is working for the Mass Transit Rail Corporation in Hong Kong as Projects Risk Manager for the Projects Division. His main role is to review, develop and maintain risk management frameworks, formulate and implement new strategies to ensure risk management practice in Projects Division is undertaken to international best practice or better, and to ensure that the risk management function fully supports the Projects Division business aims.
