Synopsis
Join us for an exclusive one-day workshop to understand and navigate emerging risks in India and its future economy.
This full-day workshop is designed to share the science and art to approaching risks that would impact your company’s financial, human capital and operational performance.
Agenda
In a changing and competitive business climate, CFOs, treasurers and risk managers should be understanding and reducing the volatility of their risks to increase resiliency to business set-backs. During this session, we’ll take a deep-dive into how Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) can be used to:
- Provide an alternative (and sometimes more certain) form of protection to conventional insurance
- Provide diversification in risk transfer
- Protect against risks that insurance is typically unable to respond to
For many risk practitioners there is an extensive list of potential operational risks their organisations are facing. In this session, we take a closer look at a couple of the more prominent emerging risks in 2018, and further investigate frameworks and tools to appropriately manage them:
- External cyber risks
- Business interruption risks
‘Human Capital’ or ‘People’ typically feature in the top 5 risks facing the world’s leading companies, and yet addressing of these risks is often the domain of Human Resources. In this session, we will take a look at how a strong link between employee engagement and risk has begun to emerge, particularly in areas such as cyber risk. We will also provide thoughts on how risk / insurance managers can work more closely with their HR counterparts to create greater corporate risk resilience.
