The IMF projects emerging Asian economies to expand 5.2% this year, slowing from 2023 but revised up from its forecast three months ago on stronger-than-expected growth in China. In 2025, emerging and developing Asia is expected to grow 4.8%, the IMF said in its upgraded World Economic Outlook.” (Source: Reuters 30/1/24)

Asia accounts for over half the world’s population and well over half the forecast GDP growth for the next decade. As globalization is transformed, risk management skills will be vital in navigating the changing landscape in the region and beyond.
