RE-LIVE THE SINGAPORE CONFERENCE EXPERIENCE

PARIMA held our first in-person Conferences since 2019 in Singapore last November at Suntec City Convention Centre. We welcomed more than 30 speakers back on the physical stage, leading 12 educational sessions on issues important to risk managers in Singapore.

Raising the Profile of Risk Management in India

Risks in APAC are as diverse as its people, geography, language and culture. PARIMA is heading to Mumbai to put a spotlight on the needs of risk managers in India and to give them the mic to voice their ideas.

Hear from our PARIMA India Board Members, Soni Srivastava from Deutsche Bank and Nitin Nair from RPG Group on why they believe that it is important to have an opportunity for the risk & insurance community in India to gather and meet like-minded individuals.

Join us on 16 June as we gather the risk community in India and exchange best practices to remain resilient in the face of permacrisis.

Engineering Climate Resilience – Building a Resilient India
Science tells us that climate change is increasing the frequency and severity of some natural hazards. It’s why climate risk—and its threat to business continuity—is now one of the top concerns keeping business leaders up at night. It’s also an element in many organizations’ increasing focus on ESG—environmental, social and governance—issues across their entire businesses. The good news is that majority of loss is preventable, and organizations and society at large can do a lot about it. That’s why climate resilience will be a significant focus for many organizations in 2023 and beyond.

Energy Transition - Hardly Working or Hard at Work
The concept of energy transition is not new; however, the perception towards its purpose and how critical it is today is changing. While India has made remarkable progress, challenges such as financing renewable energy projects and ensuring the sustainability of the Energy Transition are left to be addressed. How is this acceleration impacting risk managers and the insurance industry as we move towards a net-zero economy? With a focus on India, is energy transition hard at work or hardly working?
