Synthil joined MTR in April 2024 as the Chief Enterprise Risk Manager based in Hong Kong. Synthil has over 20 years of Group Risk / Enterprise Risk Management experience with various multinational companies serving the logistics, extractive, and risk advisory / consulting industries. Companies served include DP World, Imperial Logistics, AngloGold Ashanti, and Deloitte. Synthil holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (South Africa), is a Certified Global Management Accountant (CIMA) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Synthil brings with him a wealth of operational and executive risk management experience as well as internal audit, compliance assurance, and IT security experience.
