Note
Kindly note that this will be an in-person workshop in Singapore. All prevailing Safe Management Measures (SMM) must be adhered to.
Synopsis
Too little and too much can disrupt supply chains and harm corporate reputations, especially when it comes to a life-essential resource such as water. As a crucial driver to the global economy, an imbalance between water inputs and outputs places ecosystems we rely on at risk wherever we are in the world. We all rely on these water systems for our sustainable future and have a role to play in risk reduction.
With this in mind, we would like for you to join us for a thought-provoking Climate Academy workshop focusing on Water, featuring prominent leaders from City Developments Limited, Institute of Water Policy – Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, ENGIE Impact, Fugro and AXA Climate.
We will explore these growing risks and discuss how businesses can best prepare for and protect themselves against such risks.
Learning Outcomes:
- The current state of sustainability practices in Singapore and how corporates can do more to mitigate risks related to this to the advantage of the society, the environment and the business.
- The defenses corporations can apply in order to minimise the impacts of these events
- Opportunities for risk managers & corporations to start on their sustainability journey, and how to partner up with experts like ENGIE Impact and Fugro
- Flooding risks (coastal and inland) and how to utilise best practices to mitigate these risks, including recent case study examples on Flood Assessment
