Yosuke Happo is the Managing Executive Officer, Senior Vice President, Logistics & IMT of INPEX CORPORATION, which is Japan’s largest exploration and production (E&P) company, and is currently involved in projects across multiple continents, including the Ichthys LNG Project in Australia.
After graduating from Keio University in 1986, he joined Teikoku Oil Co., Ltd. and mainly engaged in accounting and finance activities and oil and gas joint ventures management. After INPEX CORPORATION was founded in 2008 through a merger of INPEX, Teikoku Oil and INPEX Holdings, he became Manager of Finance Group and engaged in INPEX’s corporate finance, group finance for subsidiaries and business relationship with financial agencies. He was assigned as General Manager of Accounting Unit 2 which manages accounting and taxation for the INPEX Group’s overseas E&P projects. He has more than 30 years of wide spectrum of experiences in managing oil & gas ventures specially in terms of finance and accounting.
In 2022, he assumed the current position which is responsible for logistics, procurement, IMT and insurance for the INPEX Group.
