Dr. Andeed Ma is an Associate Faculty member at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and an Expert Advisor to the National University of Singapore Asian Institute of Digital Finance (NUS AIDF), where he collaborates on industry research with Standard Chartered Bank. He specializes in AI governance, ethics, risk management, and automation, and is the co-author of AI for Humanity (Wiley) and Everyone is a Risk Manager(World Scientific). With over two decades of leadership experience in GRC and security across ServiceNow, ByteDance, and CyberArk, Dr. Ma serves as President of the Risk and Insurance Management Association of Singapore (RIMAS). He is also a Chartered Industry Fellow of the Global Fintech Institute and Blockchain Security Alliance, and an Expert Member of the AI International Institute think tank. A prominent contributor to international standards, he convenes the Singapore Standard for ISO 42001 and represents Singapore and New Zealand in ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 42. He further serves as Convener for the Joint-Working Group 7 between Australia and New Zealand for the AI Enabled Financial System, while actively contributing to global working groups on healthcare AI bias, Metaverse security, and LLM cybersecurity frameworks.
