Takeshi Miwa leads the Insurance & Risk Management Group at Asahi Kasei Corporation. Since joining in 1989, he has built a distinguished career in finance, accounting, and petrochemicals.
In his current role, which he’s held since 2019, Mr. Miwa shapes corporate risk strategies for one of Japan’s largest industrial companies. He is certified as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), earning both credentials in 2022 and 2023.
An active contributor to the risk management community, Mr. Miwa has participated in PARIMA Japan events and co-authored a recent book on risk management.
