Philippines, Manila, 5 June 2026 –– The Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (PARIMA) successfully concluded its Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge – Manila Edition (the Challenge), a dynamic speaking competition designed to empower emerging risk professionals by providing them with a platform to share their insights, experiences, and perspectives with a live audience.
The challenge attracted strong interest from the local risk community, with applications received from professionals across various industries. Following a competitive selection process, three finalists were selected to compete in the finals.
Each finalist was given 15 minutes to present their speech, followed by a live question and answer (Q&A) session where they responded to questions from both the audience and a distinguished panel of judges. The Challenge tested not only their knowledge of risk management, but also their ability to communicate ideas with clarity, confidence, and critical thinking under pressure.
The three finalists who took centre stage were:
- Alexis Huebert J. Dolor, Lead Expert – Insurance Claims Management at Globe Telecom Inc.
- Lean Camille Lumabas, Manager, Enterprise Risk Management at Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc.
- Susan Lim, Risk Analyst at PT Astra Honda Motor
Following an engaging round of presentations, the Challenge entered its first-ever tie-breaker round after Alexis and Lean received the same final score.
Both finalists were given 30 seconds to prepare before answering the same question posed by the judges. The tiebreaker showcased their ability to think critically and respond confidently under pressure, further demonstrating the calibre of emerging risk talent within the region.
Following deliberation by the judging panel, Alexis Huebert J. Dolor was ultimately selected as the winner of the Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge – Manila Edition.
