5 June 2026 –– PARIMA successfully concluded its Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge – Manila Edition, held on 21 May 2026, a dynamic speaking competition designed to empower emerging risk professionals by providing them with a platform to share their insights, experiences, and perspectives with a live audience.
The Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge is proudly supported by QBE Asia as the Title Sponsor, reflecting a shared commitment to developing the next generation of risk professionals and encouraging new perspectives within the industry.
The challenge attracted strong interest from the local risk community, with applications received from professionals across various industries. Following a competitive selection process, three finalists were selected to compete in the finals.
The three finalists who took centre stage were:
- Alexis Huebert J. Dolor, Lead Expert – Insurance Claims Management at Globe Telecom Inc.
- Lean Camille Lumabas, Manager, Enterprise Risk Management at Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc.
- Susan Lim, Risk Analyst at PT Astra Honda Motor
Following an engaging round of presentations, the Challenge entered its first-ever tie-breaker round after Alexis and Lean received the same final score. Both finalists were given 30 seconds to prepare before answering the same question posed by the judges, showcasing their ability to think critically and respond confidently under pressure.
Following deliberation by the judging panel, Alexis Huebert J. Dolor was ultimately selected as the winner of the Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge – Manila Edition.

Building on the success of previous editions, the Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge will continue across Asia in 2026, with upcoming editions scheduled in Mumbai, Penang, and Beijing. Winners will receive a subsidised trip and the opportunity to take part in the inaugural Grand Final at the PARIMA Singapore Conference from 14 to 15 October 2026. The winner of the Grand Final will be crowned the Ultimate Next-Gen Risk Taker.
The 2026 Ultimate Next-Gen Risk Taker will be offered the opportunity to participate in the 2027 edition of EQUIP, QBE’s flagship broker development programme or an equivalent leadership development programme, subject to availability.
