25 September 2026 –– PARIMA successfully concluded its Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge – Beijing Edition, a dynamic speaking competition designed to empower emerging risk professionals by providing them with a platform to share their insights, experiences, and perspectives with a live audience.
The Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge is proudly supported by QBE Insurance as the Title Sponsor, reflecting a shared commitment to developing the next generation of risk professionals and encouraging new perspectives within the industry.
The challenge attracted strong interest from the local risk community, with applications received from professionals across various industries. Following a competitive selection process, three finalists were selected to compete in the finals.
The three finalists who took centre stage were:
- Tianpeng Chen, Corporate Planning Department & Finance Department at Asahi Kasei (China) Co., Ltd.
- Jennifer Fan, Senior Claims Manager, APEC & Greater China, Global Claims at Marriott International
- Bingjie Yang, Data Protection Officer (DPO) at BMW (China) Insurance Brokers Co., Ltd
Following a compelling round of presentations, the judges deliberated and selected Bingjie Yang as the winner of the Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge – Beijing Edition.

Following the success of the 2026 editions, PARIMA announced that the six winners from the Next-Gen Risk Takers Challenge editions held across Asia will come together for the inaugural Grand Final on 14 October 2026 (Masterclass Day), where they will take the stage to compete for the title of Grand Winner. The Grand Winner will receive the opportunity to participate in QBE’s flagship leadership programme, Equip 2027.
Next-Gen Risk Takers is a public speaking challenge for emerging risk professionals to share their risk-related learnings and stories to a live audience at the PARIMA Masterclass and Mumbai Conference stops.
